Why I became a Teacher:
After teaching adults about nature for fifteen years through my business, it dawned on
me that I was teaching the wrong group of people. It is not the adults, but their children who
will actually be the caretakers of our Earth someday. That's when I realized that I needed to
teach science to middle school students . As these young people become adults
themselves, our Earth will be in their hands. The future of our planet will depend on the
educated decisions our young people make.
....Our children's future depends on how they take care of this planet, which we all call home.
